How do I calculate my basketball field-goal percentage (FG%)?
FG% = made field goals ÷ field-goal attempts × 100. Free throws are not included in FG%. ShootingStat calculates it automatically after every session.
What is the difference between FG% and TS%?
FG% measures made field goals only (2PT and 3PT). TS% (True Shooting) measures scoring efficiency and weights threes and free throws, so it better reflects overall scoring production.
